Horse adventure photos in Botswana
The Okavango Delta is one of the most extraordinary places I've ever ridden. Endless ochre grass, shimmering water, open skies that go on forever. The light here is dramatic and constantly shifting, and the colour palette moves from gold to deep green depending on the season and the hour.
What stayed with me most are the guides. Native to this land, they are connected to nature in a way we've lost in the West. They read the wind, recognise birds by their sound, understand their environment instinctively. You watch them operate and you simply feel safe. They are the vital link to the whole experience, and their knowledge and quiet wisdom inspire as much awe as the landscape itself.
Through the lens, I tried to capture all of it. The scale of the Delta, the geometry of the open plains, the reflections in the water, the way a horse moves through grass that almost swallows it. Botswana in its raw, noble, overwhelming state of beauty.
